I don’t know why I am so fixated on & enamored by grottoes, or why objects made of malachite or tortoiseshell bring me instant feelings of joy & wonder, but they do. I love wandering through different vintage and antique markets across the country, and dream of expanding my explorations across the globe. 

My mind tells me that no one cares about what I have to share, that it’s a frivolous and a shameful hobby, but my soul doesn’t seem to listen. It whispers from below, “so what, share it anyway.” Maybe someone else enjoys treasure hunting, too, and I’ve got that object that they’ve been looking for.
